There is a photograph of a young Albert Mason, who later became the Chief Justice at the trial of Lizzie Borden, on sale at eBay.  The seller misspells Borden as Bordon so the item does not appear with the Lizzie Borden items.

Do you think these two look alike?
I'm looking at the ear/nose combination.
(I didn't visit the sale)

Well certainly the head shapes don't agree.  They don't have much resemblance that I can see.  Another bogus Lizzie eBay item?

Maybe that's why they spelled it Bordon.

Yea, the young guys ears hang down and that will only become more prominent as he ages.
The ear/nose plane of reference does not fit both pictures.

I'm not great at drawing a straight line- but you-all get the idea.

maybe though, they do have the same eyes and mouth. the two
pix werent in the same position so your straight-line theory

Are you sure that this guy isn't a relative of that little green alien with the big head on the Flintstones? I think his name was Gazoo.

Ears are part of a witnesses training- also hands.
The relationship of the ear to the nose is a give-away.  Angle or no angle either the earlobe hangs below the nose or it doesn't.
As we age the nose and ears are more pronounced, I understand, as they are made of cartiledge.
The younger mans earlobes will probably sink even lower, later in life.

I don't note the shape of the head.
My opinion is only based on this relationship.
