I've seen it, heard it, in more than one place: that we students of the Borden case do not want to see it solved. Is this true?? In my own opinion, I would LOVE to see the case solved. What say you? Is it just too fun for you to really want to see it solved?

The only requirement I have in hoping to see the case solved, is if I SOLVED IT!!!!

As Ray would say, it has been solved, ----by Arnold Brown.
But seriously folks, there are those who do think they solved the case. There are books and essay about it galore! But nobody has solved it to my satisfaction. You know, explained the lack of blood, the real motive, the method, the whys and wherefores of the case. I have yet to read a cogent argument one way or the other. Masterton came close, but he lost me with the hatchet by the hearth thing at the end. Oh well, makes me want to write a book.

Yes, Arnold R Brown explain it all in his book. His is the most mature of the solutions, and, he was not a professional writer.
He used the recorded testimony of Henry Hawthorne, the son-in-law of Ellan Eagan (who passed by the house twice that morning).
Brown presents the "best evidence" for the solution of the crime. The best we can get after a century or more. Those who doubt this seem to have a commercial interest in the "Lizzie Did It" solution. Even tho the jury then, or the 2000 moot court in Stanford said otherwise.

Arnold Brown suckered 6 colleagues into believing
in his tall tale.
Oh be quite, Dave R, u dont know nothin'! Why cant u accept
Brown's mature solution! U are so narrow-minded! U have
an agenda!!

As with other theories, Brown had no proof to back him up.
I wonder what Professor Starrs would find if he did exhume the bodies. I wish he could examine that coat that was behind Andrew's head. You'd think that Lizzie's relatives would be open to it - something like that could put an end to Lizzie's suspected guilt. Their saying 'nay' isn't helping to keep the case quiet, if that was their thinking. I just wonder why they said no to him doing that.
