Found this on eBay in an auction ad for a tablecloth. Note how gossip becomes "fact" in this description. All to sell a piece of cloth!

"VINTAGE TABLECLOTH / KITCHEN ACC.W/ ORIG. BOX

This is a fantastic set of a vintage tablecloth with 4 napkins and a matching set of apron, pot holders, and dish cloth that is made by Cannon towels! They are all in their original gift boxes! I opened the tablecloth enough to take a picture to show the stripes that are in the center. The tablecloth and napkins are a Stevens Simtex Gift set and is made of 67% Rayon and 33% cotton. The tablecloth is 50 x 52 inches. The Cannon accessory set comes in a Vintage McWhirr's box which went out of business about 35 years ago. McWhirr's was the Fall River Department store that the famous Lizzie Borden was known to steal items from. The Borden family being well known as they were, the Department store manager would just report the losses to Mr. Borden to make good on and save his daughter and the family's shame. This is a wonderful set for any vintage kitchen! The winner can also say they own a box from a store with a bit of history! "

"Just add it to Mr. Borden's bill and he'll pay for it...", shades of The Legend of Lizzie Borden starring Elizabeth Montgomery.

That line plays right of the script...remember the scene..."Lizzie" was "shopping" in the hardware store and steals the hatchet..the other woman in the store witnesses the theft and tells the store keeper who replies....(see above)...mmmm

Ditto, Kat, get me the Tums pleassssssssse.
