A pretty find at Ruby Lane:
"Pansies" Beautifully Illustrated Book of Poetry Circa 1890
Published in London circa 1890 by Ernest Nister and New York by
E. P. Dutton & Co. Measures 8.5" by 6.5" with 24 pages. White
padded cloth cover with gilt title and colored pansies strewn
across. Mild soiling and corner bumps. Pages are gilt edged.
Devotional and inspirational poetry by different authors are
illustrated with charming color illustrations of cottages and
pansies.

And it is in Massachusetts, so it is from Lizzie's
era & area & it sure looks like a book she would want.

Did she really like pansies or was it just that one picture of her that has linked her forever with them? I always think about her
when I see handkerchiefs, and of course pears. There are other
things that remind me of her, I don't know why.
