Interesting listing on eBay for a scrapbook that looks familiar.  I think it's been offered (or perhaps sold) before:

I doubt that this has much of anything to do with Lizzie, since she's definitely not the "Elizabeth M. Borden" to whom a wedding invitation in the scrapbook is addressed.  However, the seller certainly has some interesting insights:

     1.  Lizzie's mother died when she was two years old!  (One wonders how she managed to marry and have children in such a short life.  I guess people matured faster then.)

     2.  Emma left Maplecroft and (eventually) Fall River because of that annoying "saying."  You remember the one, "Lizzie Borden took an axe..."  For those of us who have wondered why Emma left, the mystery is solved!

I guess ol' Sarah must have conceived Emma while she was still in the womb!

"After the acquittal, Lizzie legally changed her name to Lizbeth, moved out of the family home on Second Street, which her sister Emma still inhabited, and purchased a lovely home on The Hill, the most fashionable area of Fall River."

I didn't know this.
I thought Lizzie never Legally changed her name.  She DID sign Both ways later on, didn't she?
So Emmer was left behind by LIZBETH at Second Street.
Maybe that would have been for the best?

Didn't AR Brown say that both sisters moved to Maplecroft, and Emma's departure came many years later (circa 1905?).

Rebello, pg 310: "Emma Borden Leaves Maplecroft"...Emma sparated from Lizzie in 1905 and never returned to Maplecroft.

(a specific date of departure is not given)

It was sarcasm, Ray.  Sorry.
That was a site you might have been familiar with, plus BobcookBobcook has also studied that site.
We are talking about wrong info or odd onfo on Lizzie & Emma.
