I just watched the "Legend" movie again.
I have the ratty TBS version and I didn't do a great job of editing commercial breaks.
The breaks are there but not the commercials, so that's not TOO bad.
(Tho it is interesting to watch old tapes with their OLD commercials.)

Anyway, I have a trivia question.
Do you remember the name of the actress who played Little Lizzie?  (I made sure I got the answer at the credits).
And what became of her?  (This I don't know).

I remember I didn't like her, I haven't seen it since
the late 80's at least. I like the rest of it though --
just not fond of child actors.

Off the top of my head, wasn't it Tracey Savage?  Something like that?  I've never heard anything more about her since that movie.

Right you are Susan. Tracie Savage was her name. She was born in 1962 so was 12 or 13 at the time of the movie.

I checked the movie data base and apparently she is now a successful news co-anchor in Los Angeles.  Won some awards according to her bio on the data base.

Thanks, Harry.  I checked through the link, there doesn't seem to be any current pics of Miss Savage.  I'm curious to see what she looks like now, I can still picture her as little Lizzie.  And apparently she had somewhat of an acting career, pretty cool.

She was sposed to appear on TV in The State Vs OJ Simpson:
http://www.courttv.com/casefiles/simpson/criminal/summary/week29.html

I assume it is her:

AUGUST 9 - Judge Ito ruled that the defense failed to prove that information allegedly leaked to the press by law enforcement officials was material to the case.

As a result, defense lawyers will not by able to compel journalists Tracie Savage and Joe Bosco to testify, and they will not have access to a Los Angeles Police Internal Affairs Department probe into the source of the press leaks.

After the ruling, the defense said it had no witnesses to testify and Judge Ito recessed the trial until Thursday.

The defense had hoped to ask Savage why she was able to report, several months before DNA tests were concluded and released, that blood consistent with Nicole Simpson's was found on a sock in her husband's bedroom.

The defense said that press leaks were part of the police conspiracy to plant evidence to incriminate Simpson.

Savage and Bosco, who wrote an article about press leaks in the Simpson Case for Penthouse magazine, invoked the California Shield Law, under which journalists cannot be forced to reveal the names of confidential sources unless the information will "materially assist" a criminal defendant.

Gee, Thanks you guys!
That was really good Kimberly...[except the nude part.  (Why they think I would need to see Ms. Savage nude, I don't know...)]
So I miss her freckles, otherwise she looks the same.
Linked with OJ trial, huh?
From Lizzie to OJ.....
Velly inter--esting....

Thanks, Kimberly.  Shes very pretty.  Interesting find with her tie-in with the OJ case.  How strange!

An Oct., 1995 issue of The National Enquirer had an article, pg. 7, titled, "What O.J. & Lizzie Borden Have In Common".

We can add now, Tracie Savage, and the fact that they were both born in July with a "9" in the number...O.J. was July 9, Lizzie, July 19.

"A man and a woman are brutally murdered.  Evidence points to a popular figure defended by a 'Dream Team'.  Demonstrators protest outside the courtroom.  And a 'not guilty' verdict bitterly divides the country....
The two cases are ...remarkably alike...evidence in each one included black hose--O.J.'s bloddy socks and Lizzie's stockings!
'The similarities are startling,' declared Robert Flynn, author of
'The Borden Murders:  An Annotated Bibliography.' "

...Poor police work
...No bloody garments
...Neither muder weapon was found
...Black socks and stockings
...Both allowed to remain free for a while, then jailed for almost a  year awaiting trial
...Dream Team for Defense
...Demonstrators
...Sedation of each suspect for periods of time
...Quick Verdict
...Afterwards both believed guilty tho acquitted

Read "Legacy of Deception" by Steven Singular for his reporting on the blood evidence: "it is all suspect".
Do you understand the difference between "blood" and "DNA"? I think you can add a drop of somebody's blood to a pint or someone else's blood. You may not be able to find the "blood", but you can find the "DNA".
The Medical Examiner who did the autopsies said "the forensic evidence puts the deaths after 11PM" in July 1994. The limo driver picked up the suspect at that time to drive to the airport. He couldn't have done it!!!

The prosecution claimed BOTH that very little blood could have been put onto the murderer, and, that there were a lot of blood stains on the console of the Bronco, etc. There were other problems as well.

Anoter similarity between OJ and Lizzie:  both posted rewards for the capture and conviction of the "real" killers.  I would also suspect both ran into problems as regards social invitations.  I doubt that either one was invited to tea very often.

Oh you're right...
And that's got me thinking...
Also in both, A Note was a prominate feature.
O.J.'s *suicide note*, and Lizzie's note ( Abby's note).

Also both lady victims were the 2nd wife!

Ooo, you've inspired me...
