Charles Sawyer photo or image

MB -- I was browsing thru the Forum archives and a poster mentioned seeing a photo of Sawyer was in Porter's book. A couple of the posters commented that he looked differently than they had imagined and also noted a photo of Officer Allen. I've never seen an image of either fellow.

I skimmed thru the PDF version of Porter's book on the Virtual Library site, but it was only text.

You've mentioned you have the book....was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting the images of Sawyer and Allen on the forum? Of course, that is assuming they are actually in Porter's book.

Been keeping an eye out for a photo or drawing of Charles Sawyer for a couple years and Eureka! finally found one.

Kat, do you have a copy of Porter's book? Sometime a year ago, I must have read a post where the poster had seen a photo of Sawyer was in it.
