Save Toby the rabbit - a new internet scam

Post by Harry »

This website threatens to kill and eat a little bunny rabbit unless they raise $50,000 in contributions. So far they have received pledges of over $28,000.

I really do believe I have seen everything now.
I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

Oh my goawdddddddddd! I know! I saw this the other night on some news show right.......

and Im from New mexico-lived in OK. for awhile small towns it was part of my upbringing that we lived on a ranch we had pigs and chickens and rabbits and goats........all that were which used for the purpose of food.

I actually learned how to kill rabbits skin them (my brother learned how to make pelts from them) and we would cook the meat freeze it for the winter.

I saw this and I thought OH MY!!!!!!! and these people are still gonna go to Mcdonalds for lunch where do they thing hamburgers come from? or bacon?

How do they think man lived before they had sausage in package?
If Id known that was gonna get that much money I would have done it to pay offf my bills!!!!!!!!!!

You are funny Nona, with all your exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!

Today on "EXTRA" I saw the case of a guy in Massachusetts who left his truck running and the keys inside and the new puppy he had given to his female partner- which was 11 weeks old and adorable- and his truck was stolen! So he called his own cell phone and talked to the car thief and the guy demanded $500 for the return of the puppy or else he'd kill it!
The guy who lost the puppy (and his truck) alerted his friends, one a cop, and they tracked the guy and got the pup back. (I didn't pay attention as to whether he got the truck back...)

I would eat a rabbit but I wouldn't eat a puppy.
