"There was this young couple who one day decided to go up to Alaska to enjoy the beauty of the wilderness and to become one with nature. So they pack up their VW and head on up to the Alaskan wilderness.
"They stop in at a trading post to load up on supplies. The owner remind's them that they are entering bear country and ask's them if they need any bullets. They tell the owner: "We don't believe in killing animals and there is never a need to kill a bear. Besides, we have our little silver bells and our pepper spray to protect us in case of an attack." So off they go into the Alaskan wilderness, never to be seen again.
"A year later at that same trading post, a forest ranger is talking to a group of young people who want to enjoy the beauty of the wilderness and become one with nature. The ranger gets up on a tree stump and instruct's the group:
"You people are now entering bear country and it is very important that you keep your eyes open. There are two types of bears, the Black bear and the Grizzly. Both bears are mean but the Grizzly is the worst so leave these bears alone. You can tell one bear from the other by examining their dung. Black bear dung is smaller and contains little berries and rodent fur. Grizzly bear dung is larger and contains little silver bells and smells like pepper."
I just couldn't resist this.
