If you look to the left of the page when it loads you will see a place where you can search in your local area. You choose which area of the country you are in and then can find your state and counties or area where people have posted things they have to offer or are looking for. I have already gotten rid of things I no longer want or need but someone else did. If you post something and someone is interested in it they contact you via the email you used when you registered with the group in your area(s) (I am a member of 2 local area groups) and you make arrangements for the people to come look and hopefully take your junk away!
