Two Hatchets for Bobby

I had a wonderful Borden Day evening reading both #3 and #4. Michael Martins' (he's so dry, his last name should be Martini!) interview was wry and amusing, and the article on the discovery of the actual Newport location of the famous "chair" photo of Lizzie was breathtaking. Chock full of good stuff, indeed.

I think this was the best Hatchet yet, all round. Great job, everyone!

i like this cover design best -- the colors and the gradient in the title.

love the article about the newport houses. interesting -- the different reactions among the women of the houses.

i'm deliberately going through it slowly to make it last.

I loved everything! And Sherry Knows how much I admire her writing.

I did want to compliment our Lyddie/Mary on the poem: "The Girls In Marion."
It was short but striking and evocative.

You guys are so sweet. I'm glad you enjoyed the Newport article. Believe me, I had a blast writing it. I have something that, as far as I know, is groundbreaking in the 5th issue, coming up soon.

Every issue is so well done. Really good stuff from everyone who contributes. I'll bet the magazine and the website win prizes - they are totally top notch.

i look forward to it. i loved your account of the house where lizzie and her chair were photoed.

i heard rumor this might be a debunking type issue -- i hope so since i submitted this time along that line. i gather this issue might be a little late, but that shouldn't be a problem. i so wanted this issue to be a good one since it would coincide with the tv special.

yes, i would really love it if the hatchet gained subscribers. it SHOULD.

stefani and kat have a lot of work getting it together -- they know how much i appreciate it.

may it keep getting better and better -- it's uniquely good as it is.

I was wondering if it might be today.
I called Stefani and she was too busy to talk. I think it's the finishing touches!
It is so cool that you ask!
Thanks TK-

Impatient me -- all I had to do was wait a few hours (devilish grin).
