I have lived in the Fall River area for most of my life and my ancestors were English "jicky" mill workers who lived up the Flint. I was exposed to the Borden murders at a young age and have been fascinated ever since. Many Fall River residents are proud of the rich history of the Borden family. Lizzie Borden is just about all Fall River has left. Shame on Salem for sticking their nose where it does not belong.

If I may be so bold as to express an opinion, I would have to say to the victor goes the spoils or some such cliche about opportunity and grabbing the brass ring. I would never whine about something that I'd let sit ignored in my attic for 100 years that turned out to be worth a fortune to the tag saler I let it go to for fifty cents who auctions it off for millions.

That said, I agree that the venue should not be entirely shock-value based and gorey, it should be educational and as impartial as to who the murderer was as is humanly possible.

The above is mho and I hope it does not offend anyone.
