Changing Avatars

Post by Constantine »

Am I the only one who finds them disturbing (not that I expect to lose any sleep over them)?
A man ... wants to give his wife ... the interest in a little homestead where her sister lives. How wicked to have found fault with it. How petty to have found fault with it. (Hosea Knowlton in his closing argument.)

I'm not sure what you mean? Do you mean the idea of an avatar that is not a personal picture? And do you mean here or anywhere?
I don't have much experience with avatars elsewhere.

I mean here, where you get an idea of a person (necessarily erroneous, unless it's a photo or other portrait) from their avatar, and then have it shattered by a new one. Having met the actual person doesn't always help. (Of course, it's utterly trivial and not to be taken seriously.)

It's an interesting perspective especially from you because you have met so many Forum members and can compare them to their avatar. I see what you mean.
