Why protect Billy Borden

Post by snokkums »

I was reading thru the archives and came across an interesting posts. It was posted by someone named Can and it was titled Why protect Billy Borden? The person does make a good point. Why protect the illegitamate son (which he wasn't) when if the guy did it, Liizzie would get the money. At any rate, there is no proof that Willaim Borden was related to Andtrew, nor did Andrew acknowlege him.

And another point I was thinking about was that he wasn't related to Andrew, he wouldn't get money from Andrews will regardless.

Of course, all this is speculation. It's with the idea that Willaim Borden killed Andrew.

My point being -- why protect someone you know killed someone and take the fall? She was going to get an inheirtance.

Arnold Brown somehow thought that acknowledging an illegitimate child in the family would have been worse somehow than going to trial for a double axe murder.

A lot of people do not agree, which is one of the many reasons why Brown's theory is not treated more seriously.

But, you know, even thou that Bill Borden wasn't any relation to Andrew, why protect him, or anyone for that matter, on a murder trial?

Unless she was in on it too and was too scared to say anything.
