See what one can find when one is tuned to looking for it!! I totally understand how this itty bitty Lincoln can be sighted by this man. Too bad it is so rough in terms of being able to actually see the great man's face. That would have been cool.

Yes, I saw this on the news this morning- discovered by Ulysses S. Grant V tucked away in a family album- made my day! The story of the engraver's message inside Lincoln's pocket watch was pretty exciting too!

Very interesting, Doug. I enjoyed the site. I wonder if the guy that's making the news now about his 'last photo' knows about this photo on this site. Will there be a scuffle to figure out which one was actually taken last?

Some of those photos don't look like Lincoln.

The photos of Mary Todd are great, too. My sister reads a lot about Mary Lincoln, and she said from reading of some of MTL's physical ailments, it sounds like she may have had diabetes.
