Lizzie's Independence Day!

Post by joe1956 »

I was thinking about the case yesterday (Well i do that on most days...lol), and I got to thinking about the date August 4th. Could Lizzie and possibly others have purposely and symbolically planned August 4th as their Independence Day? It is exactly one month after July 4th, America's Independence Day. Just a thought..maybe a strange one, but something just seemed to ring true about it.

It's interesting, Joe1956, and it's possible. I do think the date was planned in advance, but I think it had more to do with either convenience (like that was the day whoever all was involved could do it - or the day when nobody would be around) or something was going to happen soon (like Andrew making some change to his property that cut out 'the girls'.)

I wonder if the date had anything to do with the policemen going to Rocky Point that day :?:

I can't remember how much of the police force was in Fall River that day.

Nice, poetic notion, but we'll never know (unless a REALLY interesting diary is found), will we?
