Post by snokkums »

Got to thinking on Sunday, 9/11. With all the sentional events and trials that I can remember in my life, I am wondering about what were some of the the events in her life?

I can go as far back (1st grader at the time) our invovlement in the Vietnam war, Watergate, Iran hostage crisis, the Bicentinal, Reagan getting shot. John Lennon getting shot, Oj Simpson trail and so on. Wondering what was going on in era.

that is so great Patsy! There are some facts that you have listed that I have forgotten about. Just thought of a fact. How about the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.

It's amazing how many things some of us may have forgotten or even realized that there were events that we never knew much about.

I added the link to my post above. You can put in any year and it'll bring up a list of events that happened during that period. I just picked the years that ended with zero to see what struck me as interesting.

Rolled toilet paper was invented in about 1880. That was a very important event.
