Online Game

Post by LouManDude »

Hello Group!

I am in development of a new online game series called "Time Machine Detective". As the series will feature some of the infamous unsolved crimes in history, I have selected The Borden Axe Murders as the first game in the series. It's not graphically intensive, though I was really going more accuracy of the content. I have a trial sampler uploaded and would love to get your feedback on the game thus far (limited access to areas of the crime scene).

I will be upload a full version in the near future, as I am just finishing the recording of the soundtracks. I am still considering recording "Daisy Belle" (aka Bicycle Built For Two), as that was one of the biggest hit songs in the summer of 1892, though I'm not sure how that will work with the animated reenactment of the days events (plays when you solve the crime in the full version).

Thank you in advance, as I look forward to your feedback. http://www.lou-man.com/lizzie-11.html

My apologies... the trial version of the game is temporarily unavailable due to technical errors. If you have any questions or would like more info, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your patience.

After more research and several hundred updates, working versions of this game are now available for your review. I hope to get your feedback, questions and/or suggestions on this interactive detective game series.

Please feel free to review a free trial of The Borden Axe Murders at:

I have taken a "First 48 Hours" approach in the development of this game, as the witness testimonies and evidence are all based on the initial investigation reports (i.e. no dress burning, no Crowe barn hatchet, etc.). However, you may find some facts that were stated in the initial police reports, though not fully pursued at the time of the investigation.

Note: While I attempted to keep the game factually accurate, there are instances where short cuts were taken to keep the file size low for uploading and functionality purposes (i.e. Dr. Bowen provides the medical examiner's report instead of Dr. Dolan, while other witnesses are omitted; Mrs. Bowen, Dr. Kelly, Eli Bence, etc.) Additionally, while I understand that there are various theories among Lizzie aficionados, you may find a very compelling scenario in the final outcome of this game (full version only).

Thank you and I look forward to your thoughts and feedback.
