Have you read?

Post by snokkums »

I came across these two books and was wondering if anyone has read them. Secrets of lizzie borden bybrandy purdy and see what I've done by sarah schmidt. Was curious if they were any good before I bought them

I've read the synopsis and some reviews for those books on goodreads.com. I love that website. I think they both would be interesting reads.

I sure miss the local Borders bookstore. I used to spend many cold nights there browsing any books pertaining to Lizzie and many other true crime publications. Coffee was great too.

Hey there! I have both. I prefer the Brandy Purdy book. I simply found it more entertaining. The Sarah Schmidt book had a few obvious mistakes, and was just too dry a read for me, but that's obviously just a personal issue. I think the Purdy book is more humanizing, and the Schmidt book paints her more as an insolent brat. So whichever Liz you prefer! Ha. I never intend to insult anyone's book on Lizzie... I read them all, so that's my two cents.
