Parlor furnishings & window treatment

The Parlor feels like the most logical hiding place for an intruder to have been out of sight, but perhaps able to hear Lizzie and Bridget leave the 1st floor/house and see that Andrew had laid down. The house illustrations I have from Case Against Lizzie Borden do not show any furnishings in the Parlor. Also wondering if the Parlor windows had big heavy, all covering drapes to block Bridget's view inside as she washed windows.

Not looking to debate a intruders existence, but just how viable the Parlor was to hide in for the Andrew killing.

Would love any information on the room itself or your thoughts on what would or wouldn't make the Parlor a prime location for the bad guy.

OK, below is the floor plan for the first floor of 92 Second Street. (Click on the image to enlarge)

Why do you feel an intruder would have a better hiding place in the Parlor? Where would they have hidden in that room?

Why not the Dining Room, where an intruder could have easily hide under the dining table and not be seen?

I'm essentially incompetent on technology, so need to recruit one of my teenagers. I'll give it a go this afternoon.

Twins -- I was thinking I had read that the parlor was kept closed, it was out of Bridget's jurisdiction (she didn't even clean those inner windows), peaking thru the door to sitting room, one could see Andrew lying and facing away. Also, could likely hear what Bridget and Lizzie were saying in kitchen and possibly be aware that lizzie and bridget left the 1st floor.

I personally don't think an intruder was involved, but want to pressure test that POV. Someone hiding upstairs would never have known they had that narrow 10 minute window to come downstairs, slaughter Andrew and then escape. They wouldn't have known that Lizzie left house or that Bridget went upstairs or that Andrew laid down. So if not upstairs, where on 1st floor would a hiding place be plausible that would allow an intruder to be more aware of everyone's placement at that precise unique moment around 10:50am.

Parlor seems only place.

The dining room, front entry, sitting room and kitchen had lizzie, bridget and Andrew waltzing thru them constantly between 10:30-10:50, including placing ironing board on the table.

Sorry, one more qualifier.....I'm trying to come up with a plausible set of scenarios that would support Lizzie have zero involvement and I'm struggling to recreate that scenario. A legit hiding place for Andrew's murderer (that didn't involve Lizzie) seems like a must to believe in an intruder.
