I'm talking about Bridget and Lizzie at the moment.
A timeline is another topic altogether.
In fact, I was just thinking about that today.
To those who really want to learn this case devising their own timeline from source documents is invaluable.
One can start at the beginning (early 1800's) or just the day of the murders. It really gives one the whole picture.
Then comparing timelines comes next. Very interesting to do it oneself.

I believe raising the point about Lizzie saying Andrew was downstairs until around 10 has less to do with establishing a timeline than with showing an example of how inaccurate Lizzie's "memories" were.

That's right Allen, the statement about the time has nothing to do with a timeline, it only implies inaccuracy of recollection.

Lizzie mentioned during the exchange that Bridget let Andrew in. If Bridget was not on the first floor of the house, how could that happen?

Lizzie not seeing Bridget does not imply that Bridget did not see Lizzie, especially when Lizzie said she might have seen Bridget and been unaware of it. The question deals with awareness, not the fact of presence or absence, and Bridget's awareness is absolutely not dependent upon Lizzie's awareness.

Actually, now that I think about it, the business about ten o'clock might have some significance. This is conjecture, nothing based in fact, unless we accept that Lizzie tended to distance herself from the activities at every opportunity. Being downstairs with Andrew at ten o'clock distanced her from Abby's murder, and it certainly implies that Abby died before ten o'clock.

Actually, I do think the 10 o'clock comment has a lot to do with timelines.
Each person has about 20 minutes unaccounted for, including Andrew. So Lizzie's 10 o'clock comment, in context with the others, still shows her timing as off- but so do the others. I still highly recommend people make their own timelines because it leads to comparative analysis. The bigger picture, as I stated before.
