The Emma 'pea shelling' story I am familiar with is from Jennings Journals (but likely posted several times on this forum). She was telling about her recollection of the 1891 burglary at the Borden house.

Is that what you are referencing? Why don't you believe it? Her entire story or the pea shelling portion?

There are a couple corrections I would suggest to Possum's timeline, but he certainly put some goodly amount of time compiling it. Possum posted quite a bit the first couple years I was on the forum (2000-2002).

Thank you for the correction on the source.
I attribute my feelings on Emma’s pea shelling story as one more in a line of comments she has used to protect her sister.
Not to mention, the thought of them all being home, except Abby, and all being accounted for in one room while I’d think the dining room windows would have been open .
Also, the back screen door I would assume was locked, and it would have been easy to hear someone go up, use a nail on the lock, plunder, and come down.
Also, they would’ve had to be very familiar with where Abby’s room was, and her personal belongings.
