Did not realize that Ric Osasek was as old as he was. Died today at 75. Listened to the album below over and over and as loud as the Bose in my Corvette could play. Ah! The crazy 80s. The decade when all good pop, rock, and progressive rock music died.

I was not familiar with Phyllis Newman. But the name was very familiar. I knew a Phyllis Newman. So I googled her face. When all the pictures came up I was certain I didn't know who she was. Still, the name was familiar. Then I scroll down on the page and there she was. Phyllis Newman. But not the one that died. But indeed a fictional character on the Young and the Restless named Phyllis Newman. After having watched the soap for its first 20 years, everyday, it is understandable why the name Phyllis Newman sounded familiar to me. Too funny.

It's the giant conveyor belt of life. It hangs over an eternal abyss. It is covered with little gray marbles that are delivered over the edge and into the afterlife. One gray marble after another. Over the edge. Once in a while you see a blue marble, a pink marble, a red marble. They are the ones which we post on this thread. As if all the other don't matter at all.
Now pour me another drink...

Edd Byrnes died on either Jan 8, 2020 or Jan 9, 2020. When doing an online search, I found discrepancies in his date of birth, as well as his date of death. Go figure! However, the cause of his death seems to be consistent; he died of natural causes at his Santa Monica home. He was either 86 or 87.

He was best known for the roles he played in 77 Sunset Strip and the Grease movie. He was also known for singing the song “Kookie, Kookie Lend Me Your Comb”, with Connie Stevens in 1959. Here is a You Tube video of the song:

Rumor has it that WALTER SATTERTHWAIT has passed.
Walter was the author of many books including the best seller Miss Lizzie.
I say 'rumor' because I discovered the information on a single website but I can find it nowhere else.
He was reported of passing away from COPD and heart problems this past Sunday. He was 73.
If anyone else can find other postings on his death please feel free to announce it.

As for Kenny Rogers:
I hate it when movie stars rearrange their face. So vain. Thus was the case with Rogers.
I was watching a commercial the other day with Rachel Ray. Looks like she recently went under the knife. It's a down hill journey for her. One operation will lead to another until she looks like a walking corpse. Awful look. Give me the wrinkles any day.
The most striking was Meg Ryan. She was so cute. Now she looks like a inelastic figurine. Awful.
The most natural looking face lift recipient is Christy Brinkley. My favorite beauty. Can you believe this woman is 66 years old?

I agree, Kenny’s looks were sure ruined after he had his eyelids lifted. He was such a handsome man before he went under the knife. He openly admitted that he regretted his decision of getting his eyelids done:

Christie Brinkley’s plastic surgery was definitely a success.

However, there are other celebrity women whose plastic surgery turned out to be horrifying. The one that really gets to me is Priscilla Presley; she was such a beautiful woman before she went under the knife:

And how about Joan Van Ark:
