The History Channel has a portion of its site dedicated to Halloween, and this link is to little video clips on ghost stories.

Cool link, Kat, my kind of thing! Too bad Halloween is just one day and not a week long celebration.

I loved that link! Halloween is a huge deal here in my neighborhood,
next door already a huge blow up ghost in front yard, it is so tacky but
I get in the spirit of it, Toms River,NJ hosts the "biggest Halloween parade
in the world" (they boast) (who cares to take the time to prove it)
Nya is going to be a Hershey Kiss, enjoy.

Nice website. Why celebrate Halloween for just one day. My friend and I (and sometimes my husband joins us) find fun things to do the whole month of October. Today we went on our first cornstalk maze in Lee, NH http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/exeter/e9_2cur.jpg It was interesting and panic set in when all three of us went our separate ways and my friend got lost somehow in the middle going around in circles. Our next adventure is the "haunted lighthouses of the seacoast ghost walk" in New Castle, NH, new for us and we are doing the night tour. We usually find some haunted hayrides, next weekend is my towns harvest festival, and we always end up at the Keene, NH pumpin festival which holds the world record for the most lit pumpkins - something to see and of course we bring our own specially carved pumpkins.

Oh that sounds cool! Are you going to take pictures?
There is going to be a Maize maze around here as well- rather in an outlying area I should say.
I never knew of those before!

We have Universal Studios Holloween Horror Nights and I've just heard on the news that it is the largest Halloween Haunted *House* site in the World and people visit from the ends of the earth.
I've never been- never fancied paying to be chased by a monster with a chain saw!

It all sounds great! My daughter went to a cornfield maize and I told her to bring a compass. I got, "Oh, Mom. That'd ruin the fun!" Well, put me in one of those and you'd never see me again.

Kat - I think they oughtta spell 'maze' "maize" when advertising those. That's cute!

Me too!
I used to wear those *Groucho Marks* glasses with the fake nose and eyebrows and moustache- all day and so did my mother!

Nowadays you can't do that and go into a 7-11 or there'd be trouble!

Me- but you probably can't tell!
