This free word processor appears to do everything MS-Word does or at least has the features that 95% of use. Far less bells and whistles which means less bloat. Looks and feels identical to MS-Word for the common uses of a word procesor.

Since it's free it's worth a look. There are versions for the Mac and Linux operating systems as well.

I usually use XP's Word pad for simple writing but I should use something more. I'll check it out.
