My sister, daughter and myself toured Lizzies house
back in 99.
I was surprised how small the rooms were.
We were the only ones there. Our tour guide (a highschool kid) let us "conduct" experiments.
My sister laid down in the guest room where Abby was found as we stood on the stair case. We plainly saw her under the bed.
Also i stood at the top of the main stairs and giggled as my sister and daughter were downsatirs.
They heard me loud and clear.
We begged our tour guide to let us go down to the basement but she wouldnt let us. She said that they may put the souvenir store down there in the future.
Hopefully the new owner will open the basement.
It would be nice to go back when they do a
reenactment. Has anyone been to those?

You're welcome for the wrapper. I believe it was Kat who posted the photo back in the original thread. I tinkered with the colors and changed the blue to pink.

It sounds like you had fun on your visit to the house. I hope the new owners maintain that level of freedom and let the visitors conduct experiments.

And BTW, don't know if I said welcome. There, I said it.

Hi, and welcome!

"We begged our tour guide to let us go down to the basement but she wouldnt let us. She said that they may put the souvenir store down there in the future." -- did the tour guide tell you this in 1999? Did they think of that way back then?

The new owners plan to make the cellar part of the regular tour. That's really great. Then we don't have to spend the night in order to see it.
