My friend Neilson Caplain passed away yesterday. He was an important contributor to Lizzie Borden and Fall River studies.
I posted the obituary on MondoLizzie for all to read.
He will be very much missed.

Yes, it is a great loss to the Borden community.
I had the honor of meeting him once when Stefani introduced me to him at one of her talks.
His articles in both the LBQ and Hatchet on the streets of Fall River as they existed at the time of the murders helped bring that time alive. His knowledge of the history of Fall River was formidable and he shared it with us.
He indeed shall be missed.

I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find
