Well you did it, Har!
You found a possible matricide and the suspect is 29!
That is unusual, and I don't think we've come this close to a family killing, possibly by a woman relative, of the age near to Lizzie, who was 32!

Then there is a frontal face wound as well.
If the daughter/granddaughter did it, I'd suppose that the younger woman was attacked first- that being the mother- and the face wound would probably be the first.

Seems like an argument- I wonder if there was an argument in Abby's case?
If the killer goaded the victim- or just attacked and since they happened to have an axe/hatchet at the time, it does imply premeditation, and surprise, rather than a previous confrontation.

The youngest, strongest victim would probably be incapacitated first.

I'm impressed, I really am!

I noticed these lines in that article:

"Masyn said he would "not necessarily" have expected more blood on her if she was the person responsible for the axe killings."

Boy, where have we heard that theory before.

Hopefully we'll be able to find out how that trial turns out.
