good WRITER/bad WRITER

There are those who write and beg for a review, for what ever reason, I suppose we must give them that. There are others who's work is so intriguing or thought provocative that it begs comment.

Then, there are those in a league of their own-----writers who's only claim to fame are that they are offensive by insulting our intelligence through falsehoods and deception.

Such a LIAR is James Frey. Another reason frey is in a league of his own is that he's a money maker. Publishers don't care if he's good or bad only that he is has proven himself as a money maker.

Why would publishers rush to publish his latest book? The man is a liar who dupes us into paying 19 to 24 dollars for a book less than truthful.

I am perplex by why someone would publish him again.

Is it friends in high places? Or could it be all about the money, money, money, money.........

Just like a witness who lies on the stand, how can one believe anything he says. Even if it is fiction............. it will always feel like a lie.

Sorry Mr. (F)frey. Go find a sucker somewhere else.

Excellent post, Mb! I was sickened when I heard about this second book of his coming out - "Oh, this time he says it's fiction..." Who cares? That guy's publisher of this second book should be ashamed. I would never buy it. Even if somebody put a gun to my head in Barnes & Noble and said, "Buy that book, b*tch!" I still wouldn't do it. I doubt it would ever come to that, but under no circumstances would I buy his book.

Of course it's all about money, Michael. But, ya know, when it comes down to it you really can't take it with you.
