Which is correct?

Post by snokkums »

I have probably asked before, but I'll ask again.

I was watching Haunted New England and they had a spot on Lizzie. The show stated Andrew was down stairs napping on the sofa when Abby was being killed.

I was under the impression the he was out taking care of business when Abby was murdered.

Which is correct?

If Andrew was napping when Abby was being killed, it implies she was alive when Andrew arrived. Why would she not greet Andrew upon his arrival? Why would Lizzie come up with the story about the note to explain Abby's absence if Abby were present?

Here you can reference Bridget's Timeline. Note when she last sees Abbie. Abbie is usually depicted as killed between 9 and 9:30 A.M., and Andrew at between 10:55 to 11:05 A.M.
You can also try reading the opening statement at the trial.
