I extensively researched the story on Alice Crimmins that appears at http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/noto ... ins/1.html
After reading everything I could get on the case, I was still baffled as to whether or not she was guilty. However, people who believe her to be guilty have compared her to murderous mothers such as Diane Downs and Susan Smith.
I'd appreciate knowing what contributors to this board think after reading my piece. Does Alice Crimmins remind you of Casey Anthony?
Are Casey Anthony and Alice Crimmins similar?

She doesn't remind me of Casey Anothy, at least "not yet". My reasoning is because of Casey's complete lack of emotional response. I believe there was a press conference where she wiped away a single tear here and there, but that's about it. Alice seemed to have had many moments: fainting spell with police, a tearful breakdown in front of cameras, desperate pleas for witnesses to come forward for her. I can't make up my mind either, whether or not Alice Crimmins was guilty.
By the way, I read your piece on Sylvia Likens (Sexless Sex Crime), and appreciated your insights. I had never even heard of this case until just the other day, when I rented An American Crime. I regret watching it. Hands down, this was the most brutal crime I've ever read about. I'm honestly having difficulty shaking it off.

(Denise) It was a truly haunting crime, no question about it.Cheryl @ Mon Oct 27, 2008 11:58 am wrote:She doesn't remind me of Casey Anothy, at least "not yet".
