Kids don't come here. And if my kids go trick-or-treating, they are so old (one is married and still went last year) they don't need any help from me.
I think I'll watch tv and check out what's on, something good and scary. And get a bag of candy that I'll have to eat all of because I vow to diet the next day.

I'm going to a local theme park where they feature special rides and costumed characters that try to scare you. I'm just a big kid at heart.

My daughter and I both won awards at the local Halloween parade on Sunday. My wife, who still fits in her majorette uniform 22 years after high school, won nothing for that accomplishment.
Here are a few photos

I'm going to accompany my grandkids halloweening. I decided I'd better take advantage of it because Dominic is going to consider himself too old pretty soon to do it, and if I wait for my other two boys to finally marry their girl friends and have kids, I will have to be pushed around in my wheelchair to do it with them in the future.

I am just heading out to the cider mill
http://www.steamtraction.com/archive/3530/
to pick up the cider and cinnamon-sugar donuts for tonight's party. We have 12 guests (ghosts) and I will make 13- so it will be a good night. I hear LeeAnn has decorated the house in fine style and there is always a unique jack-O'lantern befitting the location. Max has his special holiday collar on and I am premiering a new black velvet Lizzie "ensemble". We will do the usual house tour at 8, and I suspect Oak Grove will figure into the evening somewhere! We will be having a seance- I hope to contact Houdini! I will get some good photos to share. Happy Halloween! (Actually this haunted house looks more like the Cook Borden house on 4th St!)

Fun posts! Fairhavenguy - Your wife is real pretty. Wow - to be able to fit in her high school majorette uniform is incredible Good for her! Your costume was GREAT. And someone did a good job on your daughter's makeup.
Shelley, your haunted house on your post is fabulous. I look forward to seeing your Halloween photos at the B&B.
