How did Lizzie spent Thanksgiving?
With it being Thanksgiving, I was just wondering how Lizzie spent Thanksgiving. I wonder how she and the family spent it, and how she spent Thanksgiving after they died. And after Emma left Maplecroft and she was totally alone. I was wondering if she had friends over or spent it by herself.

Radin in doing research for his book, Lizzie Borden, The Untold Story (IMO, one of the better ones) conducted interviews in FR with people who knew or had stories of Lizzie Borden.
This is from page 51 (paperback edition):
"... Her interest in children included more than allowing a group of neighborhood boys to pick unwanted pears from the ground. With a group of friends she organized annual Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners for poor children and newsboys and she was an active worker in the kitchen, cooking and loading their plates. ..."
So at least during her time at church she spent part of her time during the holidays doing good. I have no proof but I'm confident that Abby would have made sure that the holiday dinner table at home was well provided.

I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

That is interesting. I never knew that she and friends organized Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners for the poor children.
I think Abby would have provided a well table, but given the hostility between the girls and Abby and that, I doubt they ate all together. Unless they all put their differences aside and had a nice dinner.
