As you research the murders, do you find them adding a red tinge to the rest of your life?
For example, we have some lovely pears and bananas, but every time I reach for one Lizzie takes my appetite away. Am I going to be like Janet Leigh who couldn't stand taking a shower after being in Psycho?

I invite any experience that makes me feel closer to Lizzie!
I can not bring myself to eat mutton though.

Lynn-I have seen, both in pictures and reality, some very gruesome things. When I was minoring in criminal justice we were exposed to some rather unpleasant things such as viewing a couple of autopsies. I find I have a way of compartmentalising these memories so that I can recall them if needed and keep them out of my consciousness when and where they don't relate to my everyday life. I have heard trauma doctor's say much the same thing.

I agree with Audrey...yes to Lizzie experiences, and no to mutton. Gary, I worked in a hospital as a phlebotomist for several years and saw many gruesome sights. I agree that it is possible to keep that kind of stuff "at work" and not take it home with you...most of the time anyway.
