If any of you are in the New York area, there is a doozy of a typo on page 7 of today's New York post (page 7, third column, second paragraph). (Profanity warning.)

Can you post a link or type it out for us? Is it something we can all laugh about? We can all use a good laugh.

It's not that big a laugh. It's probably best to forget about it. A letter was left out of a word, which turned it into a taboo word.

Can't be no worse then the Lubbock Avalanche Journal here in Lubbock,TX. A front page headline read "Grand Jury Indicts Wang On Indeceny" and the article went on to say "A naked Wang was seen walking in the front yard" LOL the guys last name was Wang.......and of course when I read this I was sitting with my sister in a Endoscopy Exam waiting room full of people and I laughed so much I had tears comming down. It was one of those times when it's not really appropriate to laugh out loud kind of like at a wake or funeral. but when the urge takes over you just can't stop laughing.

Well, his last name could have been Johnson. I saw the credits on a movie and a guy's last name was Pecker, like in Woody Woodpecker. It's seems very strange to be named after a bird. :-?

I sometimes wonder why people laugh at important gatherings. I have seen people break up in church, funerals, weddings, etc. I have done it too but don't know why.

Me too. I'll think of something funny that I heard or read years ago and crack up. Nothing wrong with that -- anywhere!

The article I mentioned was about a bombing (in which nobody was hurt). It said that a suspect (since apprehended, incidentally) was "wearing a red shirt." At least, that's what it was supposed to say.

Told you it wasn't that funny.

On another thread (Celebrity Deaths), I mentioned a funnier one: Comic actress Mollie Sugden was described as "elaborately quaffed." As I said, surely that's a unique cause of death. (They caught it the same day on their website, unfortunately.)
