Warning on phony IRS notifications

Post by Constantine »

A new phishing scam involves notifications purporting to be from the IRS informing people of underreported income. These contain fake links to the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Beware! See http://www.snopes.com/fraud/phishing/unreported.asp

Constantine, in order for the URL to work you need to remove the period at the end of the URL.

I like the Hot 25 list

I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

You're very welcome.

(This also applies to any and all subsequent thankers, of course.)
