How's about it ? What are you doing for Halloween ?
I am heading to Las Vegas for a day trip. Dressed in black, and I will have a sock monkey tied to my waist in the back, ogling people who get behind me. I really do miss the big old houses back east. I miss Trick Or Treating. But the Bellagio will do. They have a KILLER buffet. Ha. Ha. Just as long as they don't want to cook my sock monkey, Murphy. Will try to get pictures, but no guarantees. Happy Haunting !!

Went last night to Halloween Haunts at Worlds of Fun. (K.C.'s version of Disney World). Had a great time with scary rides and costumed creatures roaming the park. Tonight I'll probably just stay home and hand out candy.
Hope you have fun in Vegas. I've been during a summer and saw some really weird folks. Can't imagine what Halloween there would be like.
Have a great Halloween, everyone!

Going to see Lizzie Borden Live and help judge the costume competition. After I give out candy, of course!

I had to work but when I got home I listened the Orson Welles radio replay of War Of The Worlds at the Mercury Radio Theatre site. It's a fun Halloween tradition. I have the movie on dvd but the old radio version is the best!

Las Vegas was fun, but there were very few people dressed up. I was there in the daytime only. I got a lot of stares, and comments because of the sock monkey bustle. There were a few dice dealers dressed up, and the occasional head bopper pumpkin blinkers on a child, or little old ladies in tennis shoes (bless their hearts). My camera batteries died.
Next year, I will go at night. Last year in Laughlin, there were more people dressed in daytime. The tourists in Las Vegas seemed way too serious. For the record, Las Vegas on a Saturday, generally isn't crowded any more. The economy ha$ hit $in city a bit. But rest assured, Vegas isn't going anywhere. The air quality yesterday was the cleanest I have ever witnessed there.
