Justin Timberlake stars as a young man from the ghetto. If you've seen the commercials for it, you know the basic plot - that time, not money, was currency.
You were given enough time to live for 26 years. If you had a job, they paid you in time (holding a small device to your arm). If you wanted to buy anything, you paid for it with time. The time a person had left showed on their forearm, down to the seconds. The rich had a century or more worth of time. The people in the "ghetto" as they called it had around a day or a month - far less. You could give someone else some time by holding your arm to theirs. Inflation came to the ghetto. Things were starting to cost more and more time.
Justin Timberlake somehow acquires a whole lot of time. He goes to the rich part of town, partly so desperate people where he lived don't kill him to steal his time. I think this is the best movie I've seen in a long time.
