No love lost between Lizzie and Uncle John

I was reading some old posts and got to thinking. Seems that there wasn't much love on Lizzies part towards Uncle John. On the 3rd, after a visit with Alice Russell, she goes straight to her room. On the morning of the 4th, she doesn't come down to breakfast until after Morse left. Morse had said himself that on a previous visit, he didn't recall seeing Lizzie at all, all though Emma maintained contact with by letter. He said he couldn't remember recieving one from Lizzie.
Makes me wonder what kind of relationship the two had. Sure doesn't seem like a happy one if it is true she didn't have any contact with him. What do you all think?

There are a lot of oddities about the family dynamics in this case. It's difficult to determine which are meaningful in terms of the murders and which are not. In the case of Uncle John, it could simply be that Lizzie was of a younger generation and not much interested in conversing with him. That's not uncommon. It doesn't necessarily mean she didn't like him or that there was something about his presence that prompted the murders. I certainly don't think Lizzie and Uncle John were working together to commit the murders. At most, he was there on some errand that raised Lizzie's ire. Maybe the will or a transfer of property. But I doubt even that. Most likely he was just unlucky to show up when Lizzie was on the verge of a violent outburst. She was preoccupied with whatever grievance was prompting her actions and ignored his presence as a boring relative.

I can relate to not wanting to talk to "older" generation. He might not have been that interesting of a guy to talk with, younger or older generation. I think it was unlucky for him show up at a time that Lizzie wanted to go crazy.
