Is the general opinion here that Lizzie did it, any idea on percentage of how many bordenphiles believe she did it vs. other possible suspects? Also, other than what I have found in the archives of the Society, what have psychics had to say on the subject? I haven't heard much about that side at all...

In Rebello (173), he has a section on psychics- modern ones I guess you mean? He includes Kenny Kingston. I think Jane Doughtery gave her opinion- did you read her web-site about it?
I heard a psychic was expected the night we visited but we didn't meet.

I plunked her name into google with no results I can't find her page. I haven't heard of any recent psychic speculation no, and I don't have the Rebello yet *sniffle*

Very good, thank you Tracy!
Here is the excerpt from Rebello on K.Kingston.:
"Lovit, Reva, 'World Renowned Psychic Visits Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast,' Tribune, October 26, 1996: 2."
"Kenny Kingston claimed a 'transient' walked in, stripped Lizzie and was about to attack her. This traumatic experience caused Lizzie to lose reality, she grabbed an ax, later destroyed by Bridget, ascended the stairs and killed her father and then her stepmother.
Mr. Kingston also believed Lizzie was sexually abused by her father and Mrs. Borden knew about it and did nothing. Andrew Borden gave Abby Borden a 'sleeping potion to knock her out so that he could go down to the basement and party.' Emma Borden was also a victim of incest but it was ending. Uncle John Morse, according to Mr. Kingston, was involved indirectly. Mr. Kingston further went on to say Lizzie wanted actress Sharon Stone to play the role of Lizzie, a role that would save Stone's career."
--Note, both psychics apparently subscribe to an incest theory- which was the "In" theory back in the 1990's.
I would like to insert here that a person close to my family had direct dealings in the past with Mr. Kingston, and had an unprofessional experience with him- the impression left was of promises not kept.

Sorry, but this story makes no sense whatsoever. A transient came in and stripped Lizzie? Where was Bridget supposed to be -- or Abby? Why would a transient assume that a woman would be alone in the house? And unless the attack took place in the cellar (not a place I would personally choose to party), Lizzie wouldn't need to ascend any stairs to kill her father. Plus the death order's wrong, at least according to the usual chronology.
