The TRAVEL CHANNEL shows

I finally got to see the TRAVEL CHANNEL's "Haunted New England." I taped it on a whim yesterday, and when I got home, I saw that the last quarter of the show dealt with our girl. It was refreshing to have Dennis comment for the FRHS instead of Michael, for a change, and to see the bedspread displayed. The show was goofily researched - this is the one that calls Maggie "Bridget Kelly," and shows Abby in a mob cap measuring the guest room pillows with a metal yardstick. Yeah, right. And all the while Abby was being killed, Andrew was downstairs napping. Nope!
It was fun to find out that The Martin House restaurant in Provincetown is considered to be extremely haunted - we've eaten there. The show on afterwards dealt with some of America's most haunted hotels, and The Hotel Stanley in Estes Park, Colorado, where we've eaten two meals, and where Steve King dreamed up THE SHINING, was featured, to my delight. The mini-series reamke of that scary story was partially shot at that great hotel, btw.
