Wait a minute… If I remember correctly, Eli Bence told police, TWO days after Abby and Andrew were murdered, that Lizzie visited the store the day before the murder and attempted to purchase prussic acid.

No, but good try. It says Friday the 4th. It should say 5th. The 4th was Thursday the day of the murders.

My eyes must be playing tricks on me...I can't see anywhere where it says the 4th. The top says Friday, August 5, no?

No not your eyes, NancyDrew - Mine! When I first saw it I interpreted as a 4 but looking more closely I can see a 5.
