No cushion on the Sitting Room sofa

I noticed some years ago from online photos that the sitting room sofa doesn't have a cushion when the crime scene photo clearly shows one. When I stayed at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast I saw that there still wasn't a cushion and I found this odd, especially as almost all of the other details are correct.

I know the house staff have sometimes found it hard to find certain Victorian items and I remember one tour guide saying how hard it was to find the tall table between the parlour and hallway doors

Hi Matt1979. I think, all in all, they look as if the owners of the Borden home have done a fine job in getting replica furniture or finding Victorian pieces. It must be so difficult sometimes to get those special extras. I would love to visit Fall River and the house one day.
By the way, you are referring to the cushion that Andrew's head was resting against when he was bumped off, aren't you? Perhaps understandably they didn't manage to keep the original around, blood stains and all!

Hi Curryong. I agree that the owners have done a really good job with replica furniture and Victorian pieces. The house is fascinating and the two murder rooms are especially creepy.

I was referring to the cushion Andrew's head was resting against. I know what you mean about the original!

New here and looking for home decorating forums as I bough new home and newly shifted to Australia. Is cushions are out of fashion ? Your thoughts give an idea that cushions are no more on sofa, but what about bed with cushions?
