Beautiful black cat, debbie, I bet your daughter was devoted to him. Did she name him? It's lovely when cats are sweet-natured, as theyve often got a wild side!

She named him Uf Dah but somehow as we all got to know him well the named turned into Puffy. He had a mischievous side but always gentle.

Ohhh, Debbie, what a BEAUTIFUL cat!!! I am sorry to hear of his passing. I didn't know you had a daughter who passed away 5 years ago; I'm sure Puffy is again in her loving arms.
A long time ago, I have a black cat who looked just like Puffy; the only difference is my cat had yellow eyes. At the time I had my black cat I was married, but my husband was away serving in the Vietnam War. My landlord, who was superstitious, absolutely REFUSED to enter my apartment. My cat would sit in the front window, and the landlord would ask me to come outside to speak to him. I never had to worry about the landlord going into my apartment when I was not there!!!

Debbie, we have a cat-- one of six-- named Puffy. Who is, in certain of her moods, addressed as Oof Da!.

I'm sorry about the passing of your daughter and Puffy! I'm sure that your daughter is holding and loving on Puffy. My first cat was a solid black which I named Midnight. My other one was black and white with green eyes (Jazz) but he stays with my parents because he's 24# and not friendly anymore towards other animals.
