Uncle John and land

I'm working my way through previous posts but can anyone tell me if John had any land he was selling in or around 1892? Is that why he was seeing Andrew? Or could it have been Andrew selling land and John wanted to buy it?

As far as we know, neither man was involved in land deals with each other in 1892 (apart from Jeffery's theory about the Swansea farm, of course.) I also think that it was something about the Swansea farm that provoked the murders.
Morse still had his farms in Iowa, and in December 1892, after posting a bond, as he was a material witness in Lizzie's trial to come, the Fall River authorities allowed him to go back to Iowa. He had returned there by the middle of the month as the local papers reported it. In earlier 1892 Uncle John was living with the Davis family, near Dartmouth, Mass..

It does look nice, Anthony. Gently rolling countryside. He raised cattle and some horses on it, I believe.

It does look like a nice farm. Is it owned now by friends of yours, Anthony? You spent some time there. By the way, is there a dam on the property at all?

Kind of reminds me of my family property. I really need to start a notebook on the whos, whys, and hows, and places.

I think that's a very good idea MysteryReader. I think keeping files with info on time-lines, main suspects, Fall River and Borden relatives etc is excellent. All my papers at the moment are muddled up!

Is the murder weapon hidden somewhere in this land?

Wonderful pictures, Anthony. Thanks so much for taking them and sharing. I have wondered about Morse' farm in Iowa for a long time.
