Memories of Anthony--please share yours

Anthony Martin was the first person to contribute to my run for mayor of Fall River way back in 2011. He was always supportive of my efforts, offering me encouragement and friendship. This is just one of my many memories of Anthony.

Anthony was the first person who helped me understand some of the players in the Lizzie Borden case. He allowed me to borrow his books to read and answered my questions.

My overarching memory of Anthony is his voice of calm reason when tempers flared. He had a gentle yet firm way of expressing exactly what needed saying at exactly the right time.

Anthony and I exchanged several Private Messages. He would send me a PM with a question he was seeking an answer to regarding a particular thread, and I would always have an answer for him; likewise he did the same for me. I valued what he had to say, and I appreciated his kind words, when I had a ‘dumb’ question for him. He was always considerate toward me as well as all of the forum members. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
