It is TLC... Yes. The learning channel.

The same channel they have Trading Spaces on.

The last time it was on The Discovery Channel. TLC is a sister channel....

I saw the second half of the show tonight...in time to see Len!...and in time to see where the Luminol was sprayed.

They used it at the first southeast chimney area in the cellar in the wash room: what they erroneously called a dry sink. The pan was for warming water. That could be bleach stains around the rim.

Next they sprayed the Luminol at the chimney in back of that wash room area.
It is actually in the next cellar room west, the middle cellar, which is also the room where they sprayed the ceiling to find the sitting room blood.
There is a doorway-style opening there to the left of the entrance to that room and that is the whitewashed brick where they were excited to find a Luminol reaction. I have marked these with "X"'s on this floorplan. I have no idea why they found anything in this spot, waist-high.
They claimed this was where the hatcherts and axes were found, but they weren't found there.
They were found in the last southwestern cellar (toward the street) on the north wall where there was another "chimney." This "Chimney" is now in pieces, the brick removed by the Mason on Monday, August 8th.

I provided a plan, but I have met my upload quota. Working on getting some memory here.

Thanks, Kat, that would be helpful to see where it was exactly on the floorplan. There really is so much white painted brick in the cellar from what I can see that I really couldn't tell where they were at exactly.

I could not believe they got so many things wrong in that program.But it is still entertaining.Especially the experiment with the melon . Thanks again Stefani for posting so I knew it was on.

A friend of mine called me up during the show to let me know it was on and to see if I was watching it. While talking both Kat and Stef came on....

I told her that they were the women behind this forum and The Hatchet and that she needs to begin treating me with a whole new respect since I know such famous and captivating people.

Thanks Kat. I was having a hard time deciding where they had sprayed the luminol. They stated that it was the area they believe would have been directly under Andrews head. The area on the wall near the basin which had a luminol reaction,could the area in which it appeared indicate that a table of some sort may have been there at one time? Maybe the cleaning agents for washing the clothing sat on this table? The reaction around the rim did not convince me that is was necessarily blood.The fact that is was only around the rim struck me as odd though.Nice explanation of the findings on the floorplan, Thanks.

We've been discussing this for so long- and now I can finally show what areas in the cellar where examined by the show!

Thanks, Stefani and Kat, makes it a whole lot clearer for me! Its such a far remove from where the axes and hatchets were found and only a slight remove from the laundry room. As Allen stated possibly there was some sort of stand or box along there where any number of things could have been stored that caused the Luminol to react positively. The area seemed to be square-ish in shape that reacted on the brick.

It looked to me as if there was something covering the wall from waist high,up, for that line to show- it seemed such a straight line.
Since the lumination appeared below this arbitrary line, that's why I think the upper wall was protected from whatever was done there that caused the glow.
This is in the middle cellar, to which I refer. I don't know of any relation to our crime that involves this area.
However, that same middle room way over on the right, is where the office desk now sits and that is below the ceiling which was sprayed and which reacted, I believe, to Andrew's blood seeping down from the sitting room above.

Here is the middle cellar room, for those who haven't been in the house.
This is the next room past the wash room/laundry room, toward the street.
It is on the south side of the cellar- and that opening is the back of the chimney which leads to the warming pan chimney in the other southeast room.

Thanks for the pic, Kat. Could it be that there was a table there at one time where the freshly washed clothes may have been piled up before being hung up on those nails there when it rained out? I'm thinking freshly washed white garments that would possibly have traces of bleach in them. It seems like such a specific area that is affected by the Luminol there, very strange.
