Andrew's Health prior to the Murders

I was wondering if anyone knew how Andrew's health was prior to the Murders?

Did anyone at the time look or years later into his medical history? It's a question that has really been bugging me.

Besides the family being sick on August 3rd and into the 4th, did he suffer from any other illnesses?
He was 70 years old. Most people at 70 have something going on with their health... even today.
His avoidance of Dr. Bowen on the 3rd seems unwarranted.
Could it have been because he didn't want Bowen asking how he was feeling or holding up due to something other then what was going around the house? Either that or he really was annoyed with Abby for going to Bowen.. Or.. something happened between him and Bowen to cause a rift and Andrew couldn't stomach seeing him.
Also. I believe I read that several households in the community were taken by such an illness involving a type of stomach virus within those summer months. So why would Abby think someone was poisoning them if other people in the community were sick with what would seem similar symptoms, sore stomachs and vomiting?

Could him having some health problems be part of the reason he decided to deed his part of the Gray/Whitehall property over to Abby? That way if something happened she would have either income from tenants for her side of the house or a place to live if after his death things went sore on Second Street and she couldn't remain there with Emma and Lizzie. Most of his siblings had already passed by this time. I think he only had a sister or two still living at he time of his death. And they were several years younger than him.
Any insight would be appreciated to settle this matter for me. Thanks

Actually the rift between Andrew and Dr Bowen never happened. Lizzie made it up. Dr Bowen in the court testimony never mentioned any disharmony. Andrew was healthy as far as the autopsy. Hernia was all that was found. He could have lived another 10-20 years. Lizzie couldn't wait that long for her moolah
