Hello.

I am a new Member and think this is a great place to discuss/learn about this horrible tragic case.

Yes, as most of you probably have the smarts to figure things out quickly online,

I have known about Lizzie Borden for decades.

Yes, when I was a small boy my sisters/aunts/cousins all sang that Rhyme:

"Lizzie Borden took an axe

gave her mother 40 whacks

when she saw what she had done

she gave her father 41."

As I am the oldest of four kids, and my sisters were around 6 to 8 during

these playtimes, that puts me of the first hearing about Lizzie Borden for close to 55 years.

Sure, you hear millions of tidbits about millions of topics over your lifetime, and surely you hear

about anything mainstream.

My next memory is watching the Lizzie Borden movie but the actress was

Elizabeth Montgomery.

being a young man of the world, I watched anything with the good-looking

Elis. Montgomery.

Fast forward a few MORE decades, and I am witnessing this "discussion" at a luncheon

between five young women. Four of the women are tying to convince the 5th woman that

Lizzie was "framed" by "the man" to make women look bad, etc.

I was stumped like no other.

Now I am watching every YouTube video I can on this topic, and now I am here.

Wishing everyone well.

Mr. jack Remington

Thanx for the warm welcome!

Being the "new kid" on the Block, I will proceed slowly, as I think that the people that have been

here for years surely have more information than I do. The Senior members( which is everybody as I just joined today LOL)

have got to be far more enlightened and have done some serious research.

So I am still surfing the Site, and so far it is great!

But I CAN leave everyone with THIS take( not any conclusion):

No matter WHO done it, these crimes should NEVER happen in a Civilized Society. There is more than one problem

in our modern Society, and that also gets used to advantage in the big scheme of things.

I feel serious empathy for Mr. and Mrs. Borden.

Mr. Borden worked HARD all his life, and was close to 70 years old at the time of his horrible demise.

I think Mrs. Borden was 64-ish, and she was a good person from the little I have discovered for now.

To have these "Trails-of-the-Centuries" like the Menendez Brothers, the O.J. Simpson case, Jon-Bonet Ramsey case,

that Lottery winner case( I think it was Tennessee) and this Lizzie Borden case are ALL intertwined with ONE major,

inescapable element: MONEY. BIG Money. The outlier of the five aforementioned cases would be the sad, sick case

of that 6 year old girl Jon-Bonet Ramsey. That was "probably" an accidental death case that was covered up BY that

same element: BIG Money. The four other cases surely ARE deliberate acts of heinous criminality.

Why this post? Because I am a firm believer in the Rule of Law and when everyone can see theses

"Crimes of the Centuries" ALL turn into Media circuses, farces, fodder for late night talk shows who think they are

Comedians, University Professors shoving foreign ideological narratives down Society's throats, it sickens me.

To allow Political elements to decide the outcome of a barbaric crime is the tool that splits the Rule of Law

construct in half, and without the Rule of Law anyone with one ounce of brazenness will decide to do "whatever they want"

without regard to public safety. Total selfishness and impulsive behaviors will then rule those horrific times. No one will

be safe in their own homes.

I hope this makes sense to those who are here.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Mr. jack Remington

Jack, please don't be put off by us 'Senior' members, being more knowledgeable than you are. Keep in mind that at one time, we were all in the same place you are now. Give it time, and soon you will be just as knowledgeable as we are.

Your above post makes a lot of sense. I appreciate your thoughts, and look forward to hearing more from you.

Please fell free to ask questions, as you go through the varies threads.

Patsy: Thank you for posting the Archived Threads. That is a really good thing for new members to have.

I think another must have source are the Primary Source Documents: https://tinyurl.com/y9dqob59

Welcome Jack, to this forum. It's always good to have a new member.

I don't know if you saw the documentary on TV the other night. It was hosted by a criminal psychologist (whose name I can't remember) with the aid of a former Scotland Yard detective. They brought up one point which I must admit hadn't occurred to me. Andrew was discovered lying askew on the sofa resting his head on his overcoat. It was, of course, saturated with blood. The presenter questioned why on earth Andrew would ever use his coat in that fashion. It was possibly the one he had been wearing that day (which was extremely hot). He was far too frugal a character to use a coat so carelessly. Could Lizzie have put it there? We'll never know.

This documentary was on the Smithsonian Channel, which we are now able to get in the UK. (Hooray!).

Have you read any books on the subject? I think I've read them all. A couple of them put forward the suggestion that either Emma or Bridget had committed the murders, which is quite absurd. The last one I read put the blame on an intruder who was possibly Andrew's illegitimate son. It doesn't explain how he managed to enter the house when the front door (and I think the side door) were securely locked.

Anyway, enjoy reading all the comments.
