Andrew's Aug 4 walk

Hi!
I have tried to find threads on the forum that dig into Andrews Aug 4 morning walk, but no luck so far.
Whose testimony is best to read to learn more about what he did during the walk to town? During the walk, what are the likely destinations where he picked up the 'parcel'? Post office?
Thanks

Thanks twins! I thought I responded earlier but apparently it didn't actually submit.
Going to study your links carefully....a lot of dialogue on the "where the devil was Andrew" thread to process. Andrews 'small parcel' feels key to me so specifically looking for any references.
thanks again!

You're welcome. I actually found those threads after I entered 'Andrew Borden walk August 4, 1892' in my internet browser.
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Here Camgarsky4, you will find the threads prior to April 22, 2004, when the Lizzie Borden Society moved from its former server to its new permanent home. I think you will find a ton of interesting information in the archives.

From memory, may be wrong, wasn’t the parcel an odd size - like a small book, someone stated? It has never been accounted for and of course the sinister explanation was it was Andrew’s will or Lizzie’s commitment papers. Which wound up in the stove, curled up and scorched.

It feels like such a huge missing piece of the puzzle because, well, its missing. Two witnesses saw Andrew with the parcel on his way home and Bridget testified to him coming in the house with it. So the parcel is real (unlike, possibly, the sick note to Abby). Since we think we know his every move once he got home, and presumably since it wasn't in the safe, then it strongly hints to me that it may have had a direct relation (perhaps a core cause) to the killings. If it provided a clear motive, finding it would be just as important as figuring out what happened to the bloody clothes and murder weapon to identifying the killer (s).
I've read the testimony related to Andrews morning walk and I find it disappointing (but not surprising) that the police were not able to determine where and when on his journey he got the parcel.
I ordered the Knowlton Papers and hope they provide a clue or possibility.
